better health better care policy
Why is it so difficult to create a new health care policy?

If at least 81% wished for a better health delivery system, why are some so strongly opposed?

It is difficult for politicians to create a better health care delivery system, because (1) they are not medical professionals and (2) they are politicians because they enjoy and crave power. So it’s not about delivering health care; it’s about power.

Look at the current debate. Many democratic senators are promising that the current bills in the House and Senate are just first steps toward a single-payer system. They don’t care if the system described in their bills works or not; they only care that it will lead to more government power. The more resources that government controls, the easier it is to control you. And health care is one of the most vital of all our resources.

How do we solve the problem? How do we make the politicians give up power when power is the very reason they are politicians? By taking health care away from the government; i.e., putting it in the private sector where it belongs. That is the only way to prevent health care from becoming a political tool for the political elite to wrest more control from the people.

EDIT: If anyone would like to argue facts instead of just mindlessly issuing TDs, I’d be glad to discuss the issue with you, either here or by email. Feel free to contact me.
